Our In-depth Introduction to Starting or Enhancing Technical Skills using a Structured On-the-Job Training System will provide knowledge and skills needed to assess, train and develop operations personnel. This Introduction to Structured On-the- Job Training courses provide the specialized knowledge, skills, and behaviors to develop or enhance a training program for operating employees. Structured technical training and OJT training is a systematic approach to training which is organized and well executed training plan/system.
Objectives: At the completion of this session, you will be able to:
- Explain how people learn
- State fundamental concepts of On-the-Job Training OJT and technical skills training
- List key parts of a OJT training plan/system
- State the difference between Structured OJT/technical skills and Unstructured OJT
- State three levels of structured OJT training
- State importance of developing and utilizing, lesson plans, Performance Support Guides such as operating procedures and job aids
