During Utilizing Interpersonal Skills and Self-Awareness (DISC) for Building and Maintaining Positive Relationships and Workplaces, you will gain a much better understanding of yourself and others and how to create and maintain positive relationships in your personal and professional lives. You will learn valuable techniques for developing and maintaining positive relationships.
The course will consist of three parts:
- Every interaction is important – provides insight, examples and skills practices that demonstrate the importance of every interaction. We will demonstrate real-world examples.
- The second part of the class will provide “Interaction Guidelines”. Providing the knowledge and skills to effectively interact with others.
- We will Introduce and utilize DISC, which is a personal behavior assessment tool used to improve teamwork, communication and customer relations, and tie in Emotional Intelligence that provides knowledge and skills to increase your self -awareness, self-management, social-awareness and relationship management.
Objectives: At the completion of this session, you will be able to:
- Enhance every interaction you have
- Utilize Interpersonal Guidelines
- Identify your own behavioral style, as well as others, and how they impact relationships
- Become more adaptable and develop better relationships
- Learn how to “read” co-workers and customers. You will gain the ability to understand your co-workers, and customers to enhance how you relate and communicate to them.
- State the five Emotional Intelligence skills
