Leadership Techniques for Developing and Maintaining a Positive and Effective Workplace provides knowledge and skills to enhance leadership abilities. In this course, we explore and define leadership. We cover Emotional Intelligence (EI), complete an EI leadership assessment and develop an action plan based on the assessment. Exercises are offered to practice these skills.
The course is built upon my training philosophy of positive leadership:
Creating and maintaining a positive and effective workplace based on trust and positive working relationships where team members are self-motivated to do their work and to excel
Objective: At the completion of this session, you will be able to:
- Understand your leadership role
- Work toward developing and maintaining a positive and effective workplace
- State five Emotional Intelligence skills and how to use them effectively
- State four leadership approaches
- Utilize DISC and Emotional Intelligence
